A west Donegal holiday village is aiming to get additional pods for its facility.

An application has been made to extend the Fairy Glen Holiday Village in Derrybeg.

Eamonn O'Boyle has applied for planning permission from Donegal County Council.

The proposed development would see six additional pods to the facility.

The proposal also provides for the upgrading of the existing wastewater treatment system to service the development.

Donegal County Council expects to make a decision by April 25, 2023.

Fairy Glen Holiday Village opened in 2022. Last summer, it closed to guests after entering into an agreement to house Ukrainian refugees.
