Acres community centre awash with green on St Patrick's day

St Columba's Community Centre in Burtonport was a hive of activity for St Patrick's day celebrations. 

People enjoyed a host of activities alongside some very tasty nibbles during the course of the day. 

Former Fianna Fáil Councillor David Alcorn took the opportunity to raise money for a very worthy cause and with help raised money for the Lifeboats. 

Two band members were recognised for their servitude to local bands, Michael McGonagle who celebrated 60 years in the Crickamore band and Brian Quinn who was celebrating 70 years in a marching band.
