Locals and tourists have welcomed the tours to one of the most scenic islands on the coast

Inishbofinn island ferries hit the waves again

Oileán Inis Bó Finne

The ferry service from Magheroarty pier to the scenic island of Inishboffin Island has hit the waves again this summer. Those who book the service can enjoy a 90-minute cruise around the 3 islands of Inishboffin, Inisdooey, and Inisbeg.

The islands lie between Magheroarty pier and Tory Island. The service proved immensely popular with locals and tourists last year and is a firm favourite during the summer time. It will be especially popular this week during this spate of warm weather and with many people having traveled to the area ahead of the bank holiday weekend.

You will also have the opportunity to see local marine wildlife on the cruise as well as many birds that are particular to the area.

The island cruise will run every evening this week and anyone wishing to book a place can contact the ferry owners by contacting them on social media here. The cost is €20pp. Please call the service at 087 434 5892 for more information or to book.
