The centre which is based in Dunlewey has a host of activities for individuals and families

After over three years of closure Ionad Cois Locha is reopening tomorrow

After over three years of closure Ionad Cois Locha, in Dunlewey is reopening tomorrow, Thursday.

Available activities include a boat tour of the lake, a tour of the weavers cottage with demonstrations of spinning, carding and weaving, a brand new playground, a traditional farmyard and shop, pedal boats, bumper cars, a nature trail, pony trekking and a craft shop filled with locally made goods.

The cafe at the centre has a new menu and serves speciality Irish roasted coffee.

The centre has been a popular spots with tourists and locals alike. Many people who are working and living away from home enjoy visiting the centre when they arrive home with their families.  

Ionad Cois Locha opened last week without fanfare and many people visited the centre.
