Spooktacular Halloween event in Burtonport needs your help this year

Committee are holding a meeting to ensure all events run smoothly and safely

Spooktacular Halloween event in Burtonport needs your help this year

A meeting will be held on Monday, October 9 at 8.30 in St Columba's community Centre in Burtonport to discuss how to secure additional help so that the much-loved annual event, the  Spooktacular Event, can run smoothly.

The committee of The Burtonport Railway Walk, would like to hold their Annual Spooktacular Event  on Friday, October 27. Registration from 6.30pm but say they need your help to be able to do so in a manner that is both fun and safe for all.

This annual event, in the past has included, decorating both the railway walk and the community centre, hosting both a pumpkin and a fancy-dress competition, tidying up, organising refreshments, organising and facilitating crafting activities and traditional Halloween games.

The event is a much-loved event in the Burtonport calendar as well as a much needed, annual fundraiser for The Burtonport Railway Walk.

Many of the old organisers are no longer able to help and the committee are asking for your support with some element of this event so that this event can continue in a safe and fun way. They would also like to hear your ideas.
