Past and present crew members of Arranmore RNLI
Arranmore RNLI all weather lifeboat volunteer crew responded to three calls for assistance on Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27 and Friday 29 December.
The first two call outs were to assist in medical evacuations from the island and the third to bring the out of hours doctor on call to assess a patient on Arranmore.
The crew attending the call outs were, Coxswain Jimmy Early, second coxswain, Sean O’Donnell, mechanic Philip Mc Cauley, second mechanic John Mc Hugh and crew members Finbar Gallagher, Kieran O’Donnell, Micky Mc Hugh, Brian Proctor, Jamie Neeson and JJ O’Donnell.
Sean O’Donnell said: "We have been busy over the Christmas period but are always happy to answer the call for assistance. Like all RNLI stations we are on call around the clock every day of the year. I would like to thank the crew who give their time all year but especially at Christmas time when they have families at home. We wish all a happy, peaceful and safe New Year."
