PCC Falcarragh Aisling Nic Pháidín and her Irish teacher Ramona Uí Scanláin
A PCC Falcarragh student won a prestigious academic award at the University of Galway.
Transition year student Aisling Nic Pháidín was one of Irish Language Recognition Awards winners, that were presented to Junior Certificate Scholars 2023.
The Dunfanaghy native received the award because of the high results she obtained in the T1 Irish Junior Cycle exam. Aisling was one of only a handful of students nationwide to achieve this grade. She was joined by her Irish teacher Ramona Uí Scanláin for the photographs.
