Susie Boyle celebrated her 99th birthday in style over the weekend.
In good health and living at home in Cloughglass, Burtonport, for some years now Susie’s big day is marked with a bonfire, which took place on Sunday, with family and friends in attendance.
“Well done Susie - the Queen of Cloughglass - as she is affectionately known,” said the Burtonport local notes, which are compiled by David Alcorn. "Please God, we can look forward to her 100th Birthday in June 2025 at the bonfire. Susie is always a very good-humoured lady and we extend every good wish to her.”
