The Burtonport festival takes place from July 19 to 27
The brochure for the 2024 Burtonport Summer Festival will be officially launched in St Columba's Community Centre, this Saturday, July 6, at 7:30pm.
As usual, the Festival contains a large number of events, catering for all age groups. Organisers owe a great debt of gratitude to our directors, Triona Bonner, Paddy Bonner and Seamus O'Donnell (J) and all helpers for bringing this event to the modern day, right back from its start in 1977, to become one of the leading festivals in the county. All welcome to this launch and refreshments served as usual. The festival itself is from July 19 to 27. It is a week of nightly outdoor music as well as children's events throughout the day. There will also be heritage walks, sporting events and novelty events.
