Selkie Sailing have said they might not be able to continue trading after their caravan was stolen and then left burnt out on the side of the road.

Selkie Sailing are an instructor-based company that offers tuition and practical guidance for sailing, kayaking, boat handling and watersports in general, with Instructors who have experience as well as a great passion for the sea.

“Sad news about our little vintage caravan,” they posted. “It was stolen from Magheroarty pier. We kept our surfboards and bodyboards there for the past couple of years The local community has been very helpful and we appreciate the kindness.
It was burnt out at the side of the road, it’s a financial loss that we might not be able to recover. It’s disappointing. If anyone has any information we would like to hear from you."
