Garda Ronan Steede gets the flag flying for Donegal at Bunbeg station
Garda Ronan Steede did his bit to get the Donegal flag flying this afternoon in Bunbeg.
The Galway native was the man entrusted with putting up the flag at the west Donegal station, ahead of his native county taking on Donegal in the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday at Croke Park.
"When you need help to put up the Donegal flag and the tallest man around the station at the time hails from none other than Galway!," Garda Siochana Donegal posted. "Garda Ronan Steede was feeling very torn today at Bunbeg Garda Station when he was asked to fly the flag for Donegal! Garda Steede will be there in his capacity as a physio on Sunday as part of Donegal's backroom team. We and Garda Steede wish the Donegal team the very best of luck in the All-Ireland SFC semi-final! (He secretly wishes Galway the very best of luck too)."
