Local photographer Bríd Sweeney was at Carrickfinn beach on Friday when she took a brilliant photograph.
Johnny Lynch, a kite-surfer, with the family he jokes from "Tyrone and Down - to keep the peace" was in the area and let Bríd know. Running around all week at the Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival, Bríd, who is from Loughanure, popped over to Carrickfinn and spent an hour-and-a-half there as evening set in.
Whilst there, she captured this spectacular image of Johnny and his daughter Alanna-Rose high-fiving in the sunshine - a wonderful photograph showing the summer season in west Donegal.
