Birthday boy James Mickey Gallagher from Burtonport with his eight children, Jim, Kate, Aine, Mary, Irene, Shaun, Geraldine and Lorraine at the Waterfront Hotel
James Gallagher (Mickey) from Rutland House, Burtonport celebrated his very special 90th birthday at the weekend.
He was joined by his family for a special birthday party in the Waterfront Hotel in Dungloe on Saturday last.

James is a hugely popular man, who fished all his life and skippered his own trawlers until his retirement. Also a musician, James plays the accordion and the violin, something he passed on to his family.
