George Gallagher
Pet pig George Gallagher is making headlines and getting the clicks and hits on social media.
The adorable pet pig has his own Facebook page and people from across the globe are jumping on to see what the cute little pig is up to on a daily basis.
He has over one thousand Facebook friends. A recent story about the pig on Donegallive.ie and in the Donegal Democrat garnered the porridge-loving pig some national attention last week.
The story took centre stage on RTÉ’s Today with Daithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane. The story appeared in their regional round-up segment and they watched some video footage of George on his daily walk in Gaoth Dobhair.
The duo joked that George could be called Seoirse Ó Gallchóir as he lives in the Gaeltacht. George's owner was also interviewed by Greg Hughes on Highland Radio.
