Fianna Fáil Councillor Noreen Mc Garvey is delighted to welcome the recent announcement from the Minister for Rural & Community Development Heather Humpreys TD.
She said: "I know that the people of the islands will be pleased that these roads can now be repaired and maintained going forward. I understand that this is an initial round of funding and that further investment is being considered.I wish to thank the Minister, the representatives from the department who attended our meetings and Minister Charlie Mc Conologue who also worked on our behalf,
