Chartered Quantity Surveyors Buildcost got creative to raise over €5,000 for the Creeslough Community Support Fund.

The Buildcost team has members from the area who wanted to help support those affected by the tragedy and have been running a fundraiser throughout the month of November, to donate to the Creeslough Community Support Fund. They have been growing their beards, moustaches and side-locks.

Staff member Ray Mackey is the Chairperson for the Irish Red Cross in the Donegal area. His colleagues have seen first hand the support he has offered to the Creeslough Community, meeting with those affected by this tragedy via the Creeslough Community fund set up in conjunction with the Irish Red Cross, Applegreen and An Post.

Director Liam Langan is from nearby Dunfanaghy, where he coaches the Dunfanaghy Youths U-10 team. The club were delighted that six of their players were chosen as mascots for last month’s Ireland v Norway international friendly match in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.  There were five other players selected from Glenree United.

This kind gesture of solidarity from the FAI touched a lot of hearts and has brought great joy and hope to these young people. The happy mascots complete with their sponsored tops, meeting their Irish heroes including Ireland manager Stephen Kenny and captain Seamus Coleman.
