There is a fantastic programme of entertainment and activities in place for the Lennon Festival taking place in Ramelton during the first two weeks of July.

Moya Brennan, The Tumbling Paddies and A Springsteen Tribute, Robert Mizzel, ABBA Sensations, Jimmy Buckley, and Claudia Buckly  are among the music highlights, with other activities including the RNLI Soapbox Derby, music bingo, fancy dress, and a fireworks display.

And with the countdown on to the festival, organisers are advising that a number of local road closures will be in place.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “Well folks, we are a week away from our festival and here the roads that will be closed during our festival with the dates and times.

“If you’re planning on passing the wee town, remember to stop and enjoy what's going on but plan ahead as there will be delays.”
