Lorraine has been playing county music since 12 years of age. She played keyboards in her father's band on school holidays, taking her to wonderful county music venues across Ireland down through the years.
She decided to record her first single in 2019 when her father sadly passed away. She records with Terry McGinty in Valley Music Studio and has never looked back. She was the first Irish Female County Music Artist to win an Award at Gaby and Peter Agrikola's Fairplay Country Music Red Carpet Awards show in Holland in 2020 and has consecutively won awards every year ever since.
This year Lorraine has been nominated as Emerging Artist of the Year 2024 at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville. The Awards Ceremony will be held in October at the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville.
Lorraine has released 11 singles to date with Steve Bloor Media and has had huge success with five number-one hits. Her first number one was Blanket on the Ground in 2019. The song was made famous by Philomena Begley and Billy Jo Spears. More number one's continued to follow, such as One Drink is One Too Many written by Canada's Queen of County Music Carroll Baker, Dear Lord Lay Your Gentle Hands Down written by Lorraine, duets with Cliff Ausin and Kerrigan La Brooy, Your Perfect Love and Please Dont Stop Loving me. It's sure to be a lovely evening of music and Lorraine would be delighted to see you all there.
