The Thatch in Glenties will begin their à la carte menu next week, with their kitchen spearheaded by Zach Gallagher and Daniel Lambert.
Before that, on Friday night, they will be providing complimentary finger food and everyone is welcome!
“Zack has nearly 40 years of experience in the industry and we’ve had the pleasure of working with him in the Harbour Restaurant & Bar since 2019,” the Thatch posted.
“Zack has an insatiable enthusiasm and passion for delivering consistently great food and is looking forward to bringing an exciting à la carte menu to the Thatch. Just recently in 2022, Zack was rewarded for his contributions to the industry outside of the kitchen as he was named the “Irish Food Blogger of the Year” at the 2022 Irish Writers Awards.
“Daniel has burst onto the hospitality scene in recent years. With years of experience in the renowned Harvey’s Point & Red Bank since his youth days, he has also enjoyed large success outside of the kitchen in recent years as he has built a platform of over 300,000 followers on Tik Tok showcasing some of his mouthwatering dishes and recipes and has often featured on Ireland AM & RTÉ partaking in cookery demonstrations.
“The two lads are looking forward to the beginning of our à la carte menu in the Thatch from next Wednesday onwards and are committed to bringing you a standard of consistency and excellence. There will be complimentary finger food provided by Zack and Daniel on Friday night and everyone is welcome!”
