The Bluestack Challenge 2024 was officially launched by Donegal manager Jim McGuinness
The Bluestack Challenge 2024 is just one week away, taking place on Saturday, August 24.
At 6am on Saturday, Committee members will gather at Fintown Harps FC club grounds at Pairc Acla to prepare for the arrival of over 300 participants fundraising for Donegal-based charities supporting individuals with additional needs, cancer care, and mental health services.
At 7am, the buses will depart from The Bluestack Centre in Drimarone, transporting 180+ walkers to the starting point in Fintown.
Before the Walk, the committee members will be busy registering participants, organising eight vans to carry essential gear, and finalising other preparations. Tea, coffee, and snacks will be available to keep everyone energised.
The Bluestack Ramblers who will guide the walkers on the hills, will deliver safety information and other useful tips before the first group sets off at 8:30am. Groups will depart at five-minute intervals.
The first group is expected to reach The Bluestack Centre by 5:30pm, where a meal will be provided for all walkers, guides, drivers, and volunteers.
“We would be delighted if you could join us at the start or end of this special day,” event organisers said.
