The Annual Burns Celebrations will be held in Arnold's Hotel in Dunfanaghy this weekend.
This is always very popular and events get underway on this Friday evening, January 24, with the Shamrock and Thistle Night in the Whiskey Fly Bar.
This begins at 9.30pm with the Cloughaneely Players putting on a performance of Tam’O’Shanter and this will be followed by Burns Poetry Readings and a light supper.

Saturday sees the Burns Celebration Dinner getting underway with a Whiskey and Canape Reception by the open fire followed by a Traditional Four-Course Scottish Dinner with Lislaird Highland Dancers, Poetry Readings and Scottish Folk Songs.
A Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns (1759 to 1796), the author of many Scots poems.
