A Community Engagement and Crime Prevention meeting is to take place in Letterkenny tonight.
A number of Community Engagement and Crime Prevention meetings were arranged recently to take place within the Letterkenny Garda District.
The third meeting will take place tonight, Tuesday, January 28 at 7pm in the Station House Hotel in Letterkenny. Sergeant Fergus McGroary (Divisional Crime Prevention Officer) will be in attendance to offer crime prevention advice.
Local Community Policing Garda members and a number of community agencies will be there also. This will be a great opportunity for us to receive feedback/queries from the public, face to face and to invite the public to participate in a brief survey to assist in planning for the year ahead.
Two of the meetings have taken place already in Lifford and in Stranorlar and An Garda Siochan said: “We would like to thank everyone who attended and also the community agencies who attended to speak about and to showcase their work. Feedback from our communities matters to us. Everybody is very welcome to attend.”
