Clg Ard An Ratha Drama Group are at it again - this time they are performing Mammy’s Boy - a three-act comedy play written by Jimmy Keary, which promises to be a great night’s entrainment.
Hughie McGarry is the apple of his mother Maisie’s eye. He returns after a two-year absence with plenty of debts, a dog-grooming girlfriend in tow and his sights set on the family home. But Hughie’s sister Betty and Maisie’s friend Joe see through him and try to spoil his schemes.
This year’s performances will take place in The Ardara GAA Clubhouse on Friday, February 7, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9. Doors open each night at 7.30pm with the show commencing at 8pm.
