Termon Drama Group gear up for three nights on stage - ‘Don’t tell the Wife!’

‘Don’t tell the Wife!’ is very funny script and jam-packed with laughs

It’s that time again - the Termon Drama Group are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, and they are very excited to be back on the stage of Kilmacrennan Hall.

This year's offering is the the Sam Cree classic ‘Don’t tell the Wife!’ with a three-night run from Friday, February 21 till Sunday 23.

It’s a very funny script and jam-packed with laughs. The story is set in the Belfast home of Edna and Bobby Willis, and all is calm until a series of unfortunate misunderstandings lead Edna to suspect that Bobby may have got himself 'a fancy woman’.

Bobby is played by the very popular Stephen Ferry and Annette Sheridan is back this year to play Edna. Madeline McDaid, one of the founding members of the group, is playing the role of Edna’s gossiping friend- Isobel Tate and Tracey McGrenra, has returned to play the French floozie Georgette! Newcomer Stevie Sheridan will take the part of Cyril, Bobbie's apprentice!

The very funny Henry Gallagher takes the role of Basil Charrington, a male escort hired by Edna to make Bobby jealous, although this of course does not go to plan. Deirdre Gallagher is a scream in the hilarious role of Hilda and Gerry McTaggart is about to get his fill of crazy women in the role of Eric Tweedy, the Council Official. The Saturday night show is sold out but tickets are still available for Friday 21 and Sunday 23 in Gracies Stores Termon, O Donnell’s Mace in Kilmacrennan or contact 0877716511.
