All entries to play a part in the Ardara Agricultural Show must be submitted online by midnight on Saturday, July 26

The Ardara Agricultural Show returns next month, with exciting developments across all sections of the event.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 9, as Pearse Memorial Park once again hosts South West Donegal's most anticipated summer highlights.

"We’re thrilled to welcome back Horses and Ponies to the show ring this year," event organisers said. "With a full slate of equestrian classes, this is a long-awaited return that is sure to delight competitors and spectators alike.

"All show schedules are now available both in local shops and online at www.ardarashow.com – so make sure to check them out and get your entries in!

"The South West Junior and Senior Calf Championship returns with major prize money up for grabs, attracting some of the finest cattle in the region. Don't miss your chance to compete in these prestigious classes. Our sheep section has expanded with the introduction of several new classes, giving breeders more opportunities to showcase their stock.

"Home industries and crafts enthusiasts will be spoiled for choice this year, as our giant marquee features a host of brand-new classes – from baking and preserves to art, photography, and floral displays. All entries must be submitted online by midnight on Saturday, July 26. Don't leave it too late – get your entries in now on the website.

"This year we have online tickets now available for the gate online or online, with a special early bird price until July 31. The Ardara Show is more than a competition – it’s a celebration of rural life, community spirit, and the best of Irish agriculture. Whether you're competing, exhibiting, or coming along for the fun, we can’t wait to welcome you in August.
