The Blessing of the Graves takes place on Sunday at 12.30pm at the Church of the Holy Family.

There will be a Photographic and Art Exhibition in the Heritage Centre, and classes include loom weaving and watercolour. The entertainment programme includes a musical recital at 3pm, and evening music at venues throughout the town.

Bank holiday Monday is packed with activities and entertainment, from loom weaving and natural dyes classes, watercolour painting class and bird walk.

The fabulous Ardara Céilí Dancers will take a trip back in time with dancing at the crossroads and an open air céilí. The Big Swing Time Bank will perform in the Corner House, with entertainment continuing throughout the town.

On Tuesday, there will be an opportunity to learn basket weaving or to enjoy portrait painting classes, and to experience the diversity of the Owentocker River. Nightly entertainment continues.

Get set for the Mystery Bus Tour to ‘a surprise location in Donegal’ on Wednesday, or take part in further weaving or mixed media art classes.

Weaving and basket-making classes continue on Thursday when there will also be a Manus Packie Byrne film screening.

The photographic and art exhibition continues in the Heritage Centre on Friday, and there is sure to be plenty of craic at the duck racing on the Owentocker in aid of Loughros Point Rowing Club.

Saturday is Ardara Show Day, the biggest festival day of the year at the Ardara GAA pitch with funfair, heritage displays, competitions and animal shows.
