Annagry to host fundraisers in memory of Neil Peter Boyle and Adrian Devenney

The two-day event - this Saturday and Sunday - promises something for everyone

Annagry is set for a packed programme of events for Deireadh Seachtaine Le Chéile, a community fundraising weekend in memory of Neil Peter Boyle and Adrian Devenney.

The weekend is in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and the James Connolly Memorial Residential Unit.

The two-day event - this Saturday and Sunday - promises something for everyone, combining music, entertainment, and family fun, while supporting two important causes.

On Saturday, the festivities begin with a Craft Fair and Car Boot Sale from 11am to 3pm. Later in the afternoon, the much-anticipated Super Band March will take place at the New Graveyard from 3:30pm, bringing colour, music, and pageantry to the village. The evening will feature live music and a DJ from 6pm, before an auction at 8:30pm rounds off the day’s events.

Sunday will see the return of the Vintage Car Show at 12 noon, offering a nostalgic look back at classic motors. At 2pm, Spirit of Freedom will take to the stage, followed by a performance from Mark The Ramper at 4pm to bring the weekend to a close.

The organisers are encouraging everyone in the community to come out and support the event, with proceeds going towards providing essential services and support. Donations can also be made online via the QR code featured on promotional material.

With music, heritage, and community spirit at its heart, Deireadh Seachtaine Le Chéile promises to be a memorable weekend in Annagry, all in aid of a very worthy cause.
