Organisers say the choir is open to everyone, regardless of experience, and hope it will help foster friendship, cultural exchange and community spirit
A new multicultural community choir is being launched in Falcarragh, inviting adults from all backgrounds who share a love of singing to come together and celebrate diversity through music.
The first gathering will take place in Garradh Cholm Cille, Falcarragh (F92 W2H7) on Friday, September 12, from 7pm to 8:30pm. The initiative aims to create a welcoming space where people of all cultures and traditions can connect through song.
Following the launch night, regular practices are planned on Saturdays throughout October and November, leading up to a special performance in Ionad Naomh Fionnán on Friday, December 5.
Organisers say the choir is open to everyone, regardless of experience, and hope it will help foster friendship, cultural exchange and community spirit. The project is supported by Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC), the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP), Donegal County Council, and is co-funded by the Government of Ireland and the European Union.
