Four Donegal stores celebrated at Londis Retailing Excellence Awards

Four Londis stores were among the top-performing retailers honoured at the Londis Retailing Excellence Awards 2025.

The outlets received recognition at the event held recently at the Seafield Hotel & Spa Resort, Gorey, Co. Wexford. 

The Donegal-based winners were: Carmel Bonner, Bonner’s Londis Convoy; Ken Foley, Foley’s Londis Drumlonagher; Ciaran McKenna, McKenna’s Londis Drung; and McKenna’s Londis Ballymacarry. 

Since their launch in 2015, the Londis Retailing Excellence Awards have celebrated retailers who go above and beyond in delivering quality, service, and innovation,” Conor Hayes, Sales Director at Londis, said. “These awards shine a spotlight on the passion and professionalism that define our Londis network. I’m proud to acknowledge our Donegal winners, whose dedication to their customers and communities sets a remarkable standard. Their recognition is richly deserved."

The event, hosted by BWG Foods, owners and operators of the Londis brand in Ireland, recognised the outstanding achievements in retail excellence of Londis’ nationwide network of community retailers.

Organised in partnership with independent evaluators Solution Management Associates (SMA), the awards celebrate Londis retailers who have demonstrated exceptional standards in areas such as fresh food quality, product range, store presentation, and customer service. Each winning store underwent a comprehensive assessment to ensure it met the highest benchmarks in Irish convenience retailing.
