Local community groups will be present to share information on supports, activities, and opportunities to get involved locally during the winter months
The Inishowen Co-Op Community is inviting everyone to its annual Health and Wellbeing Event 2025, which takes place next week at the Carndonagh branch on Thursday, September 18, at 6.30pm.
The free evening will feature a line-up of guest speakers offering practical advice and support on mental health, lung health, and farm wellbeing. Kathryn Boylan, a psychotherapist with Best Life Therapy and Lifeline Inishowen, will be joined by Colleen Merritt, Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist with the Donegal Integrated Care Team.

Also speaking on the night is coach and mentor Frank Hynes, who supports farmers and their families in managing stress and the challenges of farming life, and General Practice Nurse Roisin Doherty, who will also provide free health checks during the event.
In addition to the expert talks, local community groups will be present to share information on supports, activities, and opportunities to get involved locally during the winter months. Refreshments will be served, and with Q&A sessions and health checks available, the evening promises to be both informative and interactive. This is a free event and open to all, with no booking required - simply come along on the night.
