Gardaí in the Inishowen area have released the schedule for a series of upcoming community clinics aimed at engaging with residents and promoting safety ahead of the dark evenings.

The clinics, which will be held across three days, offer locals an opportunity to meet with officers. The initiative kicks off on Tuesday, October 7, with two clinics. The first will take place at St Mary's Hall, Muff, from 6pm to 7pm. This will be immediately followed by a clinic at the Greencastle Community Centre from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

On Wednesday, the Gardaí will hold sessions at the Moville Resource Centre between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, and later at Colgan Hall, Carndonagh, from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

The final day of the scheduled clinics is Thursday. Residents of Malin Head can attend the clinic at the Malin Head Community Centre from 6pm to 7pm. The series concludes at the Glengad Community Centre, running from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.

A key focus of these clinics will be promoting pedestrian and cyclist safety. Gardaí are urging the public to "Be Safe, Be Seen" and will be distributing High Visibility Jackets to attendees. The public is encouraged to pick up their free jackets from officers at any of the scheduled clinic locations to ensure they are visible on the roads as the evenings get shorter.
