Lough Eske Castle is hosting a number of family events this Christmas
Lough Eske Castle Hotel is renowned for its Christmas lights and heart-warming decorations, and this year the team are going all out to ensure a magical festive experience for anyone who visits.
And as always, the team will be working to help people in need in the local community this festive season.
Christmas Lights Ceremony
The Lights Ceremony at Lough Eske Castle hotel is a delightful family event which marks the start of the festive season in Donegal Town.
This year’s event takes place on Sunday, November 30, starting at 4pm, and is followed by a children’s disco in the hotel ballroom.
The Christmas Lights Ceremony also marks the start of the hotel’s food drive.
A spokesperson said: “This event marks the launch of the hotel's charity drive in conjunction with St Vincent de Paul, designed to assist local families during the Christmas season.
“Open to the public, guests and visitors alike are invited to donate non-perishable food items for these families in need.”
The food drive will run until Friday, December 19.

Teddy Bear Tea Parties
Create magical family memories this Christmas with a Festive Teddy Bear Tea Party at Lough Eske Castle. These events taking place on Sunday, December 14 and 21 promise to be truly special. With sittings starting at 1.30pm, the Children’s Teddy Bear Afternoon Tea Party begins with afternoon tea in the castle ballroom, and is followed by a disco and visit from Santa.
Your child is welcome to bring their favourite teddy or plushie along to enjoy a big day out at Lough Eske Castle Hotel.
Advance booking is required. Tickets are €30 for adults and €15 for children.
Festive Afternoon Tea
What better way to celebrate the magic of the season than with a luxurious Festive Afternoon Tea in the luxurious surrounds of Lough Eske Castle.
Guests can look forward to savouring a refined selection of artisan sandwiches, delicate pastries
and freshly baked scones, perfectly paired with fine teas or a glass of bubbles to toast the occasion.
A spokesperson said: “Relax in the elegant Gallery Bar, Lobby Lounge or the castle drawing rooms and create cherished festive memories to treasure.”
Festive Afternoon Tea is served daily from 12 noon to 4pm with a range of options available:
Traditional Afternoon Tea, €40 per person
Sparkling Afternoon Tea, €47 per person
Champagne Afternoon Tea, €54 per person
Children's Afternoon Tea, €15 per child
