Féile na mBan is returning to Bundoran from January 30 to February 2
Féile na mBan is returning to Bundoran for St Brigid’s weekend.
This is a four-day celebration of women-led artistry, ideas and community, set against the backdrop of the Wild Atlantic coast. It will take place from January 30 to February 2.
The festival honours the legacy and spirit of Brigid in a contemporary context. It brings together musicians, scholars, creators and cultural practitioners for a long weekend of live performance, conversation, creative exploration and social connection.
Music highlights include Niamh Regan in concert, Gliondar an Earraigh, a special collaborative performance featuring Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh (Altan) with The Henry Girls, Róisín McGrory and Denise Boyle, The Nutones, all-female jazz ensemble and 80s/90s Pop Disco Party hosted by Donegal’s favourite pop music queens.
There will also be a number of talks and cultural events including Professor Sonja Tiernan on Eva Gore Booth and Constance Markievicz, Dr Niamh Hamill on The Cult of Brigid, Edel McBride on Irish Knitting Culture, Scannán na mBan: a Women’s Film Festival, workshops, readings, Sea Swim, Park Run, Pop-Up Gaeltacht, cocktail socials and informal meet-ups.

This is a weekend designed for women of all ages to gather, connect, celebrate Irish culture and build community. Visitors can expect concerts, conversations, movement, creativity and plenty of chances to make new friends.
