Letterkenny's Cathedral Quarter set for March AGM in Dillon's Hotel

Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter Committee has announced that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Thursday, March 12, at 8pm in Dillons Hotel, Letterkenny.

The AGM provides an important opportunity for members, local businesses, residents, and stakeholders to come together to review the past year’s activities and outline plans for the year ahead. The Cathedral Quarter continues to play a key role in promoting the cultural, social, and economic vibrancy of Letterkenny’s historic town centre.

Attendees will receive updates on recent initiatives, events, and projects aimed at enhancing the Cathedral Quarter as a welcoming and dynamic destination for locals and visitors alike. The meeting will also include reports from committee officers, a financial update, and the election of officers for the coming year.

A spokesperson said as well as our annual programme of events, we have a packed scheduled for the coming year.

"We will be lighting up the Lawrence Collection Mural soon and officially launching the Jim Lynch Mural," the spokesperson said. "We are also looking forward to the return of 'Derelict in Donegal & Beyond' Conference in conjunction with Letterkenny Tidy Towns as well as assisting in the planning of a visit of a group from Elizabethtown in Pennsylvania.

"The organisation is especially seeking people with expertise in events organisation, Public Relations, Fundraising, Webpage design and sourcing funding.
