A ‘last chance’ meeting took place in the Central Hotel on Tuesday evening. It had been announced the previous week following a meeting attended by only six people - including the organisers - that the parade could not go ahead due to lack of support.
However, as word spread of the cancellation, it became clear that there was an appetite for the parade to go ahead and so the second meeting was announced. It had a much better attendance and plans for this year's parade are now underway.
