Alan Foley

Alan Foley is the Managing Editor of Iconic Media Group’s Northwest Division - Donegal.
The Letterkenny native graduated from Letterkenny Institute of Technology (now ATU Donegal) before
completing a Masters in Journalism at NUI Galway in 2007 and previously worked for the Donegal
Democrat as a sports reporter from 2004 to 2015. He was appointed sports editor of the group in June
2021, becoming deputy editor in October 2022 before taking over as Managing Editor in February 2023.

Chris McNulty

News and sports reporter from St Johnston, now based in Ballybofey, he
was a nominee for NUJ Sports Journalist of the Year in 2010 and
honoured by the Donegal Boxing Board in 2016 for his coverage on the
sport.

A four-time author, he has written: Beyond the Line, Finn Valley
Athletics Club, A History (2022); A Games For Europe: The History,
Present and Future of the European Games (2020); Boxing In Donegal: A
History (2021); and ‘Relentless: A Race Through Time' (2019).

Siobhan McNamara

Siobhán McNamara is a versatile multimedia journalist, news reporter, and feature writer with a passion
for engaging and insightful storytelling across a range of platforms.
Based in Donegal, she contributes to digital and print titles including DonegalLive.ie, Donegal Democrat,
Donegal Post and Letterkenny Live.
An experienced court reporter with expertise in public affairs and local politics, Siobhán holds a
professional qualification in Multimedia Journalism (News) from the National Council for the Training of
Journalists (NCTJ).
While reporting on important issues within Donegal, she also likes to shine a spotlight on those
contributing to the cultural fabric of the community, be it through their artistic pursuits, heritage, sport,
festivals and other such events and activities.
Siobhan is particularly passionate about personal stories, from the challenges that people face in their
daily lives to highlighting vital support work being carried out by the many unsung heroes across the
county.

Declan Magee is a senior journalist with Iconic Media Group in Donegal. A native of Derry city, he has
more than 20 years experience in journalism, most of it gained in the north-west.

Frank Craig

Frank Craig

Frank Craig is sports editor with DonegalLive. 

Prior to taking up that position with Iconic in late 2022, he was also a regular contributor to a host of national and online titles. 

Frank is a published author having ghosted 1992 All-Ireland winning captain Anthony Molloy’s memoir, ‘Life, Glory and Demons’.
