Donegal face Louth on Saturday evening in the Athletic Grounds in Armagh with a chance of winning a first ever Paul McGirr Cup

The Donegal minors will meet Louth in the All-Ireland minor Tier Two final on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Karl Lacey’s side will take on the Wee County in the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds in Armagh, just four hours after the Donegal seniors take on Cork in their All-Ireland Round 2A match in MacCumhaill Park.

Donegal entered the Paul McGirr Cup competition after losing out in the Ulster semi-final to Derry by a point, but defeated Dublin and Down to reach the final.

It’s a first final at this level for Donegal since the competition began, with previous Donegal minor sides losing out in the semi-final the last two years, to eventual winners Kildare in 2024, and to Meath in 2025 under Barry Ward.
