McHugh’s Bradford City come from two down to draw with Sheffield United

Carl McHugh retained his place in the Bradford City team as they drew 2-2 with Sheffield United in League One.

The Lettermacaward native has had a largely frustration season on the fringes of Bradford’s squad but was back at the heart of the defence last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Bristol City.

On Saturday, Bradford came from two goals down after Jamie Murphy gave Sheffield United an eighth-minute lead and then Harry Maguire made it two five minutes before the break.

Bradford pulled a goal back through a deflected strike from Gary Jones on 56 before James Hanson levelled seven minutes later.
