Where are they now? The first Donegal panel to take Sam to the Hills in 1992

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the first time ever back on September 20, 1992, when Brian McEniff's team overcame Dublin on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-14 at Croke Park

The Dungloe clubman was best known in his teens lining out for Keadue Rovers and made his first championship start for Donegal as a substitute in the 1990 Ulster final against Armagh, before starting in the All-Ireland semi-final against Meath. Heavily involved with his local club at both men’s and most recent in the LGFA set-up, he was part of John Joe Doherty’s management team with Donegal in 2009 and 2010 and is an Area Sales Manager at Keypoint Abrasives Ltd.
