The unlucky man to miss out on the 1992 final through a neck injury and was replaced by John Joe Doherty. The Dunkineely native was Ulster Player of the Year in 1990 and Donegal Player of the Year in 1986 and was on the 1982 U-21 panel. Played championship for Naomh Ultan reserves in 2021 when 60 years of age. Employed by Eircom.
