The Letterkenny native is the youngest player on record to play senior football for Donegal. He was just 16, had played only one half of senior football for St Eunan’s before replacing Downings’ Hughie McClafferty in the 3-4 to 2-6 win over Leitrim in 1980. Started in the 1992 Ulster SFC opener against Cavan at Breffni Park. Accountant, owns Smart Accounting Ireland in Letterkenny. A former club chairman of St Eunan’s.
