Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The current Donegal captain is the only man who played a part in all seven of their Ulster and All-Ireland successes since 2011, when he debuted at 17 for the seniors, having played minor the same day. A trialist at Celtic SF in 2007, McBrearty, who was born in Dublin before the family relocated, was a 2012 All-Ireland winner at just 19 and last year against Cork played for Donegal for the 150th time. With Kilcar, he was a 2017 Donegal SFC winner and is Managing Director of Talcon Group, who specialise in offering skilled rail technicians, labourers, and maintenance workers.
