Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The Creeslough native is a brother-in-law of Jim McGuinness and part of the current set-up. Spearheaded St Eunan’s College’s success in the 2000 MacLarnon Cup, the school where he is currently a vice-principal. The St Michael’s forward first played for Donegal in 2002 and lined out 173 times before retiring in 2016. Won three Ulsters and the 2012 All-Ireland and was nominated for Player of the Year in 2012, when he scored the second goal in the final against Mayo.
