Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

Paul Durcan
The Four Masters goalkeeper made his championship debut in 2004 following his side’s win in the Donegal SFC the year beforehand. Played for Donegal until 2015 but returned in 2019 with Shaun Patton then Declan Bonner’s No 1. Durcan won two All-Stars and four Ulster SFC titles, as well as Sam Maguire in 2012. Won 2015 Dublin SFC and Leinster SFC crowns with Ballyboden St Enda’s and the All-Ireland SFC club the year after. Works as a quantity surveyor and is with the Donegal GAA Academy and is based in Drumcliffe, where he played for Drumcliffe-Rosses Point.
