Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The St Michael’s forward made cameos in both the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final and semi-final wins over Cork, respectively. McLaughlin was part of the Donegla U-21 panel in 2010 and was three years with the seniors from 2011 to 2013. Has a BSc in Sports and Physiology from Preston’s University of Lancashire and an MSc from the University of Limerick. Currency the joint-manager of St Michael’s, with Martin McElhinney and works in the Civil Service.
