Where are they now? Donegal’s heroes that took home the 2012 All-Ireland

Donegal won the All-Ireland SFC for the second time in their history in 2012, when they defeated Mayo 2-11 to 0-13 in the final at Croke Park under Jim McGuinness

The then Dungloe forward started Jim McGuiness’ first championship match against Antrim in 2011, having been first introduced by John Joe Doherty in 2009 when he was in red-hot form for his club. Spent time in London, where he played for both Tír Chonaill Gaels and St Clarets, although currently based in Doochary and works as a plasterer and farmer. Transferred to Na Rossa in 2023, although he remains a mentor with Dungloe minors.
