Glencolmcille company Rossan Knitwear was in the spotlight as part of The Edit in Showcase Ireland in the RDS. The Edit shone a light of the best of Irish made products in the annual Showcase Ireland event where Rossan Knitwear has proudly exhibited for more than 40 years.
The range is handcrafted in Donegal by a family of in-house designers and makers. The third generation McNelis family knitwear business also saw four Rossan original products featured in the Inspiration Stage Showcase Ireland.
Emma from Rossan Knitwear said: “As a small family run business based in south west Donegal, it’s an incredible achievement to have our handmade garments on the runway and to proudly stand over and exhibit an Irish made handcrafted Donegal product.
“We were thrilled to be recognised, let alone considered!
“As a third generation family knitwear enterprise to have stuck through 40+ years of excitement, hardship, determination, friendship and profitability it's a story for the books - the genuine Donegal cottage craft beginning.”
From loyal local customers to world renowned actors and musicians, Rossan Knitwear is a popular choice for those looking for genuine quality, purity and unique handcraft. It was these qualities that led to Rossan Knitwear being invited to play a leading role in Showcase Ireland which took place in Dublin’s RDS from January 21 to 23.
