Gallery: Celebration time at Trentagh National School

School awarded green and amber flags

There were big celebrations at Trentagh National School where the staff and pupils were presented with the Green Schools Flag for Environmental Awareness.

The flag was raised by Chairman of the Board of Management, Alan Alexander.

The school also received an Amber Flag for Promoting Positive Mental Health and a new Buddy Bench made by Kilmcarennan Men's Shed.

The timber for the special bench was kindly supplied by Robert McMahon.

A big congratulations to all involved, especially school principal Lisa Russell, her staff and all the children.
