Donegal Town mayor election taking place - meet the candidates

Here are the five people who are hoping to get your vote to represent Donegal Town in the capacity of honorary mayor

A Mayor for the Community

Originally from Drimarone, I have been living in Ballydevitt for the past 30 years. I have always been deeply connected to Donegal Town.

As a widow raising three children, I understand the challenges families face and the importance of strong community support.
My work with children with additional needs has given me a deep appreciation for inclusion and opportunity for all. I have been active on the Bluestack Challenge Fundraising Committee, the Parents' Association, and a voluntary facilitator with Rainbows Ireland, supporting children coping with grief and family separation.

Donegal Town has always supported me, and now I want to give something back. My focus as mayor will be on creating a cleaner, safer, and stronger Donegal Town for all.

You'll often find me walking, spinning, or enjoying a coffee with friends.

I would be honoured to have your vote!
