Domhnall Mac Giolla Bhride (Gaoth Dobhair)
Mac Giolla Bhride was a late call-up on Sunday to replace for his first appearance for Donegal at senior level. The evening beforehand he helped Gaoth Dobhair to victory in the semi-final of the U-21A Championship over MacCumhaill’s. For his club’s seniors last season, manager Trevor Alcorn went with a host of young players for various reasons and Mac Giolla Bhride put in a fine campaign at midfield.
